Brief: Create a welcome booklet for incoming University students.

Using the Students' Unions brand guidelines as a foundation, I designed a colourful and engaging welcome booklet aimed at making new students feel excited and connected from the outset. With over 3,000 students receiving the booklet each year, it was important to create a design that would stand out, encourage interaction, and make information easy to navigate. The publication features bold typography, striking graphic elements, and a photographs I captured throughout the year, creating an authentic representation of student life. The result is an eye-catching and informative piece that balances practical content with a strong visual identity.

The project was created using Adobe InDesign for publication design and layout, Affinity Designer for graphic elements and illustrations, and photography captured throughout the academic year to bring a personal and authentic perspective to the booklet.
